The Creepy times

The Creepy Times: By Rahul Alvares

Dearest Creepies,

It is my foolishness that I should not have marked the date on which my first issue of The Creepy Times was sent out last year. I hence know not the date on which to celebrate the  anniversary. I am however quite sure I've passed the date; in any case I wish to celebrate one year of Creepy Tmes with the release of my much awaited movie The Bushmaster !

The Bushmaster is the story of my life with reptiles. The movie features the typical snake call, my work with the hotels, snake release into the forest, etc. Included in the movie also are excellent shots of pythons swallowing rats, a small snake handling instructional, and ten minutes of bike scenes – myself and my enfield riding the open roads of Goa with green fields on either side.
If you have been a regular reader of Creepy Times you will have also guessed by now that I would have included a more than a fair share of practical jokes and good natured humor! The soundtrack for the movie includes four rock songs of my choice. I am pretty sure you will like them though!

As usual the target of this movie is promoting myself and ensuring I am made more famous! But really, a lot of people these days want to know what I am up to and what my work with snakes is all about. The Bushmaster will show you just that.

Considering the CD is promo material I am selling the film for sixty five rupees only (including the price of the CD). Included along with this CD will be all the back issues of creepy times and other articles I've written on snakes and other animals.

But wait! I've got an even better deal. For another thirty five rupees (a hundred in total) I am prepared to include, in E-book format, my two books - Free From School (price 100) and, The Call of the Snake (price 110) – and a ‘How to handle snakes' manuscript that I worked on for Maneka Gandhi years ago.

Drop me a mail if you are interested!

In my life I've had many different hairstyles and beards. In celebration of the Creepy Times anniversary I have decided to included pictures of the different faces I've carried around over the years.

There were too many photographs for one issue. Next issue will cover the remaining photographs
