My Routine
Greetings from London to all of u!!
After the first update, I thought of many things that I would like to share with you. Well, this is the same kind of update on my settled life!! :-)) My routine here is not much different than in India. Only the way I do them is changed.
Getting early in the morning... the toughest job of all!! I have to do that. And I get up at 6:30 AM.. I make my chaay, take bath, get ready and go to work. i start from my place at 8:45 AM and catch 9:02 train from  "Backer Street " station to  "The Great Portland Street ". It's just the next station. So i reach office by 9:20 AM max. The journey is not much different than we have in local trains in Mumbai. Trains here in rush hours are equally crowded. We don't get space to move also. The only thing is people cant hang out as the doors are closed and we travel in the underground train. We generally go 100-200 feet under the ground to reach to the platform. But the best thing here is, everywhere there are escalators! i am so use to it that sometimes i stand on the stairs and wait for them to move!
Train Stations here are constructed wonderfully. There is always a breeze playing inside and you never suffocate. Then everything is automated. We need to validate our tickets while going inside the station and also while going out. So there is no chance to save our money with our  "WT TRICK!! ". I take weekly travel ticket (called  "travel card " here.). Well that's about the commutation.
Then we work in the office. Computers are equally dumb as in our dear India. Only the speed is good. Net access is very fast here. We go for Lunch by 1:00 PM. We generally go to an Indian restaurant  "Nilkamal ". We get a thali (with two sabjis, one nan, pulao, dal and chuttney.) Food is good!
We leave office at 6:00 PM. Do some shopping (generally the daily needs). Then go home watch TV prepare food - the Backed Beans (Shhhhiii... i dont like :((and Bread) Somehow eat this (or dump this??). This is the worst part of the day. And go to bed at 11:00 PM.
That's the routine. I know its too long but some of you want to know each and everything! Can't help it!! :-) We have a furnished flat. We got TV, microwave, a cooking range, a fridge, a washing machine and everything that we need in our daily life! i got a big bed room with TV and phone. But I don't watch TV in the room (actually its not working..!!). I'll send you photographs as soon as I get them developed and printed. I am planning to buy a camera for that!! :-)) This is my daily life!
More updates in the next mail.
Till then Jai hind!!
