Brighton and Hove is the most enchanting, exciting, extraordinary seaside city in Britain. However brazen that may sound, it is no exaggeration. With its cosmopolitan air, oodles of restaurants, feverish nightlife and abundance of culture, the place defies comparison with anywhere else this side of the English Channel. For centuries it has been regarded as a 'pleasure dome', and that's not about to change. If you love life, it's worth going to "Brighton and Hove ". |

Myself and Kedar decided to visit brighten on Sunday 5th Aug, 2001 Morning at 8:00 AM when we went out of home just to wonder somewhere. Brighton is easily accessible from London. Just go to Victoria coach station and buy your ticket.. It's around one and a half-hours journey from London. |

When we reached Brighton, we felt like we are somewhere in the Mogul time.. It's true! The city is far different than any other city in UK. The most prominent difference is the architecture! Since the Prince Regent (later King George IV) first visited Brighton and Hove in 1783, his fantastic seaside palace, the Royal Pavilion, with its Indian domes and minarets and it's Chinese style interior, has become a landmark not to be missed. Some of the finest examples of Regency architecture in England can be seen in Brighton and Hove. There are oodles of lawns on the seashore giving stunning views of the sea. |

The best thing I liked there was the lively Waste-End Pier. It is a ramp build on the sea reclaiming few hundred meters. On this ramp there is a big amusement center. We went gambling, shooting, archery and many rides. The roller coaster cannot give you more thrill than when it takes a vertical circle above the seawater. We feel like falling in the sea when it falls down with the gravity. My cart was stuck inside a Mystery-House ride. I had to come out walking on the tracks of the card. It was deadly scary! I could feel the gunshots below my foot while walking on the track and there were slopes that I crossed in deep-pitch dark with monsters hanging around me! That was the best experience of the haunted-world! |

Then we spent around two hours just watching the sea. It was full moon and thus high tide day! The beach is just like any other beach, but the city is worth seeing once. |

We started back in the evening at 7:30 and reached London at 10:00 PM. |
