PAPERS "Development in civil engineering in India", 12th Indian Engineering Congress, The Institution of Engineers (I), Nagpur, January 1996."Detailing for bond, shear and torsion - comparison of codes", Seminar on concrete reinforcement detailing for high performance, Indian Concrete Institute, January 2001."Moment adjustment in two way slab", Structural Engineering Convention an International Meet, IIT Roorkee, October 2001."Elastic & elasto-plastic fracture problem A Review", Seminar on Modern trends in Steel Structures, Association of Consulting Civil Engineers (India), Feb 2002."Joints in RCC for aqueous environment", Annual paper meeting for 2001, The Institution of Engineers (India), Nagpur Center."Mass concrete with high fly ash content", Seminar on Mass Concrete, Indian Concrete Institute, Feb 2002.
PROJECT Dynamic analysis of structures - Investigation into analysis of raft foundation, M.Tech thesis work in 2001 Seismic analysis of plane and space frames were performed using SAP2000 Three different approaches viz. seismic coefficient method, response spectra method and time history analysis were used to apply seismic loading to the frames Effects studied with respect to the variation of forces induced in the structure and in the pressure distribution diagram for the raftUse of polypropylene fiber reinforced concrete as a construction material for rigid pavements, B.E. project work in 1999 Polypropylene Fiber Reinforced Concrete (PFRC) was made with different fiber percentage by weight and different tests were performed using various different specimens Observed improvements in fatigue and impact strength of PFRC over PCC (Plain Cement Concrete) Reduced thickness of rigid pavements
