The latest
venture of the Biology students of the Rahula College is Tour
on Bio, the Biological Exhibition and Conference. This
exhibition covers several areas in Biology including
Bio-diversity and Natural Beauty, Applied Biology,
Nature Collection and Tissue Paradise. It also has practical
demonstrations about Physics and Chemistry which would
be of utmost value to the Science- learning students. Conferences about several
aspects of Biology are also
scheduled.
The organizers
of the exhibition and the conferences say, that this has been a
dream for them for a long period and at last it has become a
reality.
They said, "Our main objective is to enhance the
knowledge of science students, so we have invited many schools
in the area to be present at the event. We also wanted to
renovate our laboratories, and we did it. We must kindly thank
our teachers concerned who encouraged us in
this task."
The exhibition
and the conferences are scheduled to be held on 5th,
6th and 7th of July. On the concluding
day a special conference on Biology is also scheduled to be held.
