My College, M.A.C.T.

The college laid its foundation wayback in 1960 and was named after one of the most prominent freedom fighters -Maulana Abul Kalam Azad.It is an autonomus college and enjoys a good ranking among the few RECs of India.

The college offers the following branches of engineering:

Civil Engineering
Computer Science and Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Electronics and Communication Engineering
Mechanical Engineering

Besides this the college also offers Bachelor's and Masters' Degree in Architecture(B. Arch. & M. Arch.), M.Tech & MCA courses.

The campus is situated at the top of a hill secluded from the busy city life with around 650 acres of land to boast about.The serenity and tranquility prevailing in the very soul of the Alma mater forms the solid backdropp for the young buds to bloom as qualified engineers.M.A.C.T. being a Regional Engineering College has students from all over the country. And the very best brains of India ( & from some bordering countries) come here to study.The campus thus is more like a mini India, with students of each & every part of this beautiful country studying together.

I did my B.E.( Bachelor of Engineering ) in Electronics and Communications('1996-'2000) from here.I simply love it.
