I've done a little surfing in my time, I'll admit it. I've got a lot of pages that I'd reccomend, but I've tried to limit this list to the ones I really like the best, the places I go time and time again.
There are some pages that really stand out for their quality as well as content. And of course I have to tell you how to get some places that are essential, whether your interest be great goth garb or really cool kids sites.
Entertainment
A great way to keep in touch with friends far and wide as well as just waste a couple of minutes. And it's free!
One of the biggest time wasters on the internet. Games, jokes and general stuff.
I love to go here. It's better than just hitting the comic section of a news-site. The links to some of the better comics are really groovy, and there are even fun games.
A great place for laughs and information. Sardonic, ironic and as they bill themselves, "Pure and simple as a hammer to the forebrain."
You can't be a liberal and not listen to NPR. Even if you only listen to Morning edition once in awhile. The best place to be informed and not be brainwashed by today's big brother.
A must go for all moms with kids who like cartoons. More Scooby Doo than you can shake a stick at. Also cool games and fun stuff. Too hip to be only for kids.
A great place for netgames and fun. "You don't know Jack" as well as other groovy things to do.
Gothickry
One of the grooviest goth sites on the web. Great links, gothic Martha Stewart, and more. Definately a must see.
A good site for those who are curious about what all that black nail polish could signify.
This young lady has got some chutzpah! She really puts it all on the line. My thought is that if you can't laugh about yourself, then laughing about other people is just cruel and evil. Which is everyone perogitive, but at least recognize what you're doing.
What a hoot! Good little site with lots of fun things to see and do. Hints for how to live with a goth if you're normal. My husband could use this.

Go here every day. It's one of the coolest and most worthwhile places on the web.
One of the grooviest free readings on the web. I just wish I could get my own Fantod Deck.
The weirdest holidays and noted dates. Easy to find "sneak zucchini onto your neighbor's porch" day.
I really cool and useful site for Opera buffs. There's a searchable database listing Arias and lyrics.
