The High Art of Tailoring

So I've rediscovered costuming, and it's turning out to be pretty cool.  It started with Star Wars.  Mike wanted a Jedi outfit, so did Xcylur and a friend of theirs.  (a bosom buddy in collecting, this guy, Dan, even takes his Star Wars action figures and changes them with paint, exacto knife and glue.)
So I made them Jedi outfits.  Then Mike tells me he wants a Tuxedo.  And so does Xcylur.  And other things.  A redcoat uniform, a safari outfit, a shooting party outfit.
So fine!  I want a victorian gown, and something with panniers, and I'd love something very 30s.  So now I must start really working on projects rather than just talking about them.
I took on a simple commission, a cape for one of our friends in the Vamp game, and he really loved it.  Now I want to do more commissions.  With the weddings being over and nothing to do now but get ready for the holidays, I just might do more work.  But first a tux or two and a redcoat uniform and a safari outfit and a fancy dressing gown...
