I added two more poems to the page today. I am almost finished reading "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas". Every time it goes into narrative momologue, i hear Johnny Depp's voice in my head mumbling and ranting. I think i have watched the movie way too many times....oh well, its a good movie.

I rented Beowulf..havent watched it yet..but i thouht it might be good. Planning on watching that and Sleepy Hollow this weekend(no, i am not obsessed with Johnny Depp...it's a weird coincidence that three of the more interesting movies i choose to watch have him in them). Oh well, weekend is still 2 days away.

I watched American Beauty tonite. Never before have i seen such a beautiful, true and disturbing movie. I actually cried. It is so sad to see that that is how the world is...people denying the beauty that makes them human, ignoring the freedom to think for themselves. It depresses me to think that those "normal" people are rotting from the inside out, and that they will always have the advantage and the upper hand because they lie to themselves and the world by donning these images of "perfection" and "normality", all the while condeming and ridiculing those who are truly beautiful inside.

well, enough of that...i liked the movie, and it touched in me something i thought dead inside me...the ability to see clearly eveyrthing that is wrong in this country.

Happy New Year. I did absolutely nothing for New Year's Eve...it was great. I watched The Ninth Gate and didn't have to put up with any drunk people. Very great way to welcome in the new year.

I survived another Christmas. What a relief. Only 330 more days until the madness begins again.
