| OK this is the deal in my many adventures in dream land, or just to much time on my hands, I have discovered some strange, disturbing and sometimes scary similarities. | O.K. the first one deals with the Road Runner. The cartoon featuring the Road Runner and Willie E.Coyote. To the regular person it's just a Coyote chasing a bird, but to me this represents the chase for happiness. Come on think about it if he catches that damn bird he's going to be pretty damn happy but he will never catch him, but in the same case nobody ever achieves complete happiness. | The following came to me in a dream while I slept in english class writing my final paper. Anyhoo If you have read Beowulf then you would know that towards the end Beuwulf witnesses friend after friend get killed and eaten by Grendel. This is similar to how the U.S. acted in the 90's. Grendel eating the guys before he got to Beowulf is kinda how the U.S. reacted when Al Qaeda attacked all those U.S. embasies around the world. and it wasn't until Grendel attacked Beowulf that Beowulf fought back. just like it wasn't until Al Qaeda destroyed the WTC and the Pentagon that the U.S. really fought back.
