He takes more to the body type of his dam Cristy (curly coat, broad).Spence's 24" at the shoulder and 112lbs! Spencer's brother, Midas' Diego, takes more after Indy, very tall and lean w/a straight coat. Diego lives up the street (our friends liked Spence so much, they went back for his last littermate).

Spencer is a favorite of the entire neighborhood. Almost the entire neghborhood of 8 streets knows the dog, but has *no* idea who his family is :)
Foof is a lap dog at heart. My mum used to drive around with him in her lap when he was a puppy. Now she can't drive alone with him, as he keeps trying to get in her lap again, lol. Normally, he sits in the front seat with all four paws and acts as human as he can. He loves car rides just as much as he loves bananas, caesar salads, and going for walks.
He is the *worst* guard dog ever. When complete strangers to him (friends to us) stopped by our house to pick up an appitizer when we weren't home, he gave them a tour of the driveway & house, then hopped in their car as they tried to leave! They spent about 10 min kicking him out!!
Three dogs on our street run loose during the afternoon: Spencer (8.5 years), his half sister Salsa (11.5 years), and Toby (1.5 years), a male rough coated collie mix/german shepard. Spencer is the "alpha" of the pack, if you could call a afraid-of-baby-bunnies dog that.
