Rah's Sempai, out of Rah's Nutmeg (Black Steel, out of Rah's Stjerne [1 leg] and Love A Little Thunder [2 legs] ) and Rah's Tiramousse (Bk Chocolate Steel, out of Vail/Rah's Miss Willy Wonka and Vail/Rah's Gizmo), is a black gold tipped steel doe, born April 22nd/05.
I loved this girl since Day 3. She and her sister Rin were like carbon copies of my girl Yogi Bear as young babies, doing the "bridge", falling asleep in odd positions...
Sempai, named for her silver goatee as a baby, was the widest & shortest baby from day 9 onward, and it stuck!
**I've tried something different with this one. Since weaning at 8 weeks, she's never been on full feed. She's been on restricted 3/4 cup feed the whole time. I've noticed a lot of my animals are going overweight at a younger age lately, so I wanted to see if restricting 2 months earlier would change that.
So far it has, but I have noticed her massiveness is lagging now. So I'm going to give her more time then normal to catch up.
TYPE: Great width and nice depth on this girl! Solid HQ above and lower, ribs meet with the hips...Thing I'd change is her length, she's a tad too long for my liking. I'm hoping she develops more width in a month to balance. Lovely Lady!
