I guess its time that I
introduce some of my friends to you.
The leftmost one is Siva - to the right
of him is me- followed by Giri & Bhargav. This snap has been
shot when we went out boating in Shillong. Incidentally this happens to be on
January 10th - 1998 (yes ! that's on my birthday )
Shiva is now at IIM Ahmedabad. Giri works for Ubinetics and Bhargav for Sun.
Believe me ! Boating ain't an easy task
! Phew - I was out of steam just after a few minutes of paddling. Never knew
that it was such a tough job.
That's me with my class mates having a great
time at a restaurant in Shillong.
This is the highest point in Shillong.
That's Alcheringa Time ! Alcheringa is
IIT-Guwhati's cultural festival. Oh boy ! What a gala time we had. By the way here I am with my
lab partner Debashish. He used to do a lot of my work also in the labs
(specially the hardware lab, which he really enjoyed a lot !! ). Good that now
he is now with Philips and into DSP.
That's the CPU designed by Debashish, me & Parvez - done as a part of the computer architecture lab. This CPU has an instruction set which we designed. You can write "programs" using the custom instruction set.
