From a group of Canadian activist ladies who stormed the Ottawa officials to protest the incursion of U.S. nuclear warships into their waters in 1987, the Raging Grannies are EVERYWHERE.
We protest with a touch of respectibility, some imaginative get-up (including shawl and picturesque hat) and hardly any vocal ability at all.; We are not PROs; we are protesting social injustice wherever we can.
