The most Horrendous war toys
.
This is what started us off on our protest. It's just incredible isn't it?
They call it FORWARD COMMAND POST. But we can see that it's just a Barbie doll house that's been damaged by war. They say it's for ages 5 and up. I say get 'em young, then when they are old enough to go to war, they won't think anything of it, your sons and daughters will agree to go to the killing fields as if it was inevitable. I wonder where Barbie & Ken are? Refugees? Or are they dead & buried in the backyard? I found it listed for sale at K.B. Toys, K-Mart, and J.C. Penneys.
Read what these columnists have to say about war toys,
Pierre Tristam of the Daytona Beach News-Journal in Florida and Krista Foss of the Globe & Mail in Canada.

We will not have
PEACE ON EARTH anytime soon if we teach our children that war, killing, violence, and destruction are acceptable and inevitable.
And isn't this a sweet little boy? This "toy" is for ages 3 to 7. So teach your 3 year old it's OK to kill. Then when he is 23, he won't object to going off to the killing fields and getting himself killed. Now wouldn't it be an ironic turn of events if this child model actually does go to war when he's 23 and gets killed? I don't want that to happen to him, or any other 3 year old child. But in today's world, it is quite possible.
ANOTHER tank toy. This one is smaller, but it does shoot plastic missles. It tells the child to bring armored support to the playground. I don't want the kid who gets this toy on my block!
Combat Tank
$39.99 Bring a little armored support to your play battleground.
Camouflaged 37" tank features rotating gun turret
and barrel that shoots plastic missiles.
Plastic. Imported from China. 7 lbs. Ages 3 and up.
Found at J.C. Penney's
Here are three more examples of how the corporations want to prepare children for war. Apparently war is good for business, even if it isn't good for children and other living things.

All were found at J.C. Penney's.
World Peace Keepers Battle Station
$24.99 Includes one 12"H poseable action figure, cannon with tripod and 40-pc. accessory set. Cannon has working lights and sound; requires 2 AA batteries, included. Accessory set includes everything needed to stage a battle. Plastic. 2 lbs. Ages 3 and up.
I am SOOO offended by the abuse of the words
"WORLD PEACE"
in the name of this war toy.

A fine example of Newspeak ala BRAVE NEW WORLD by A. Huxley.
First Strike Command Set
$19.99 Includes rugged 4x4 and helicopter. 4x4 is 17" long with a detailed interior and roll bar. Helicopter is 29" long with flip-up canopy, detailed interior and working winch. Both vehicles hold 12" action figures, not included. Plastic. Decals included. USA. 8 lbs. Ages 3 and up.
No newspeak here though, just blatant encouragement of aggresive behaviour.

In accord with the new policy of our government,
STRIKE FIRST.
Never mind that it's illegal.
Bazooka and Walkie Talkie Set
$24.99 Bazooka extends from 23" to 29" long.
Features explosion and bazooka sounds and has 3 voice messages. 2 channel walkie talkies have adjustable headband with realtime communication, static free transmission and can be used within a 250 to 300 foot open area range. Requires 5 "AA" batteries, not included. Plastic. 4 lbs. Ages 5 and up.
This "toy" teaches children that violence, killing and destruction ARE FUN!
Look at his big smile!
This is not the way to
WORLD PEACE.

Peace through Violence
is like
Chastity through Sex
