Chapter 7 Breaking Bonds
Chantale work up the next morning feeling safe and warm. There was also a pair of arms snaked around her naked body. Turning her head slightly she saw that she wasn't in her home.
In fact, she couldn't remember where she was. Turning her head even more she saw that she was laying next to Dustin. Them being naked only meant one thing. 'Oh my god. I had sex with him.' She wasn't horrified, but she didn't want to give up her innocence yet. She wanted to know the person well enough. But she and Dustin had connected so well. Smiling she snuggled back into his embrace falling asleep again.
Dustin woke up a short time later. He felt complete, like had been around the world in a day. He also noticed that there was a beautiful naked girl laying in front of him. Smiling he kissed her next and shoulder blades, getting an early morning moan out of her. "Morning babe." He said huskily.
Chantale turned over to face him. "Hi." She said back.
The both staired at each other for a minute before both jumping to the question they both needed to know "Do you regret what we did last night?" The both asked.
Then, they both blushed and laughed.
Dustin went first. "No I didn't. I think that your my one, and that it was the best decision I ever made."
Chantale looked into his eyes and smiled. "I really wish I would have saved myself, I feel like we don't know each other that well...but I also feel that you are my one. So no I don't regret anything we did last night."
They both smiled and kissed each other.
Both got up and got dressed. Chantale cooked Dustin breakfast before he took her home.
As they pulled into her driveway, she gave him a light kiss on the lips and said "We can't tell anyone yet. Alright?"
Dustin nodded. Smiling Chantale climbed out of the car and sauntered towards her house.
Going inside she saw that there was nobody at home. Shrugging her shoulders, she walked upstairs and into her room. Closing her door she walked over to her computer and began to write in her online journal. Her entry read:
'Dear journal.
Last night I did something, that I'll never regret. My friend Dustin, and I beCame one last night in the heat of the moment. We gave each other our innocence. It was amazing. I'm so happy that I think I've found my "one". Shi won't be happy though. "chasity.... chasity..... chasity......" That's what she always preaches. But I don't care. it's not like she's ever going to read this or find out....

Chantale hit the post button and closed the window. Wandering over to her bed she saw that Shi had left her a note. 'Chan, gone to the track. Call me later. Shi'. Shrugging Chan fell into a happy sleep. About 20 minutes later before drifting off completely, her eyes snapped open and she shot up like a bullet. "Oh Shit. We didn't use protection."
Shi was loading her bike up on her jeep when her cell rang. Looking at Hunter. "Looks like Chan is calling."
"Looks like it." Answers her phone. "Yeah?" Pausing. "Will you be home?" Sighing and rolling her eyes. "Going shopping with Tori. I am sure. Fine be a coward." Hangs up the phone. "I swear."
Hunter laughed. Seeing Blake coming toward him. "I'll catch you later Stormy." Hunter smirked. "We'll have to finish of those moto vids."
"Hey Shi." Blake said.
"Hey Blake gotta runs." Shi smiled at the younger of the thunder brother. "Remember Hunter you promise you pose for me."
"I will. I keep my promises." Hunter said smiling at the dark haired girl.
Blake smirked as they watched Shi drive away.
"So how was your night last night bro?" Blake asked.
"Nothing happened." Hunter said softly. He shrugged he for one wanted to get to know the dark haired storm caller better. Before they got that close.
"Could tell that." Blake smirked.
The two brothers laugh.
Meanwhile Shi notes the roses are sill on the kitchen counter. The storm caller sighs and carries the flowers up to her cousin's room and places them on her dresser. She then retreats to her room. Getting online and checking her buddies and coz's online journals. She read Chantales and blinked. "Oh bloody hells." Shi closed her eyes. "They had sex. I swear I'll kill Dustin."
She stood up and left the house.
At the mall Tori and Chantale meet up with the rest of the guys including Hunter. The broody blonde looked like he was ten thousand miles away.
Tori gave him a look which he ignored.
Chantale looked very pre-occupied and Tori noticed this. Grabbing her arm Tori literally dragged her away from the guys and into a cosmetics store. "Chan. What's wrong?"
Chantale looked at Tori fearfully. "Tori I need to go to the doctor, right away." She chocked out. She looked to be on the verge of tears.
Tori nodded and they snuck out of the store and away from the guys. They clambered into Tori's van and started towards a local clinic. "Chantale, why do you need to go to the doctor?" Tori asked.
Chantale bit her lip and stared out the window and quietly said "Dustin and I had sex last night and I might be pregnant."
This caused Tori to swerve her van until it reached the soft shoulder of the road. "WHAT?" She practically screamed.
Chantale turned to look at Tori, tears streaming down her face. "Tori, please you cannot tell anyone. It was in the heat of the moment. I'm not on the pill. Please Tori," Chantale cried.
Tori sighed and pulled back onto the road and sped towards the clinic. "You do realize that if Shi finds out, your dead right?" She asked.
Chantale sighed "She'll never find out because your not going to tell anyone and nobody ever reads my online journal. So I'm safe."
Chantale sat inside the examination room in the clinic, Tori was refused entry because she wasn't family.
The doctor had just finished examining her lower body and sighed. "Well Miss Tomoe. At this point I cannot tell if you are pregnant or not. You said it only happened last night? There needs to be at least a month before we can actually tell. So until then, your safe. But do be careful and next time, either make sure your on the pill or you use protection. That's it. Your done." And the doctor left the room.
Chantale shakily got to her feet and re-dressed herself and walked out to where Tori was sitting.
"So? How'd it go?" Tori asked. "They can't tell me anything until a month from now. It's too soon." Chantale replied.
Tori nodded and they headed back towards the mall hopefully the guys wouldn't notice they were gone. But what the pair did not know was there was some hell about to be raised there.
Shi dove up to the mall on her touring bike. She parked it in the reserved motorcycle parking. She stowed her helmet and leather jacket in her storage compartment.
Walking quickly she spotted Hunter. Touching Hunter's shoulder the storm caller's eyes rested on Dustin. "You." Her voice was cold.
Hunter cast a look at the girl next to him. He could tell that Shi was furious. He sensed the control in her voice.
Dustin swallowed and looked at her. He could see the storms raging in the depths of her grey orbs.
Cam and Blake exchanged looks when they noticed that Hunter had clamped a hand on the tall girl's shoulder.
"Could not keep you bloody hands off her could you." Shi raged. The sky above them turned grey and thunder started rolling.
Blake looked at Hunter. "Whats going on Bro?"
"Hell if I know." Hunter muttered. His had still clamped on Shi's shoulder. She was fairly throbbing with anger. He drew her too him wrapping his arms around her. noting the sky above them. He instinctively reacted. "Calm Stormy. Calm he is not worth your anger."
"Oh yes he is." Shi growled. "He...He... he..." Shi closed her eyes trying to calm her rage. She leaned on Hunter trying to do as he asked her. She then opened her eyes and Dustin crossed her vision once again.
Shi glared daggers at Dustin who looked almost read to flea for his life before Shi continued..."He.... he...... he.........he destroyed my cousin."
The guys gave her a puzzled look. None of them saw Tori and Chantale walk up to the group as Shi screamed "He fucking fucked my baby cousin! You fucking son of a bitch I'll kill you!"
Chantale's eyes went wide with fear, before filling up with tears. Letting a sob escape her Chantale ran full speed back out the way she had come tears falling down her face.
"Shi?" Tori asked surprise coloring the surfer girls voice. She had never seen such anger before. Tori had a feeling this would not be the last time she witness Shi's storming temper.
Shi swung around just in time to see her cousin flee. 'Oh hellfires.' Shi thought. 'Pink's gonna be pissed now. She should have been thinking and not reacting.' Sighing she looked at Tori and growled. "What blondie?"
Blake growled, and grabbed Shi's arm "Nobody talks to Tori like that you hear me?" He growled out. Shi's temper was effecting him as well.
Shi snatched her arm back "Fine. Nobody wants me here. I may as well go find Pink, if she hasn't gone and done something stupid yet!" And with that Shi stormed, literally out of the mall.
Hunter watched and blinked then sighed. "I have a feeling this is not going to be good."
The heavens above Hunter agreed as it let loose another terrible storm on the population of Blue Bay Harbor. Thunder and lighting roared and sizzled the sky.
Chantale sped down the two lane highway, not sure of where she was going. She knew that where ever she was going, she needed to get there fast.
It was raining so hard that Chan couldn't see five feet in front of her. Suddenly her car skidded going around a silk corner swung around and stopped in the middle of on coming traffic. The car wouldn't start.
"Is someone trying to punish me?!?!" Chantale screamed. Something told her to look out her driver's side window, which she did.
Only to come face to face with a transport trunk going 90mph. She would never be able to get out of the way in time. So Chantale waited to meet her destiny
The truck slammed into the tiny white Honda CRV. Chantale's head smashed against the glasses and she was thrown around like toy in her car. The Transport Truck had pushed the car into the other oncoming lane so the other side of the car was smashed beyond recognition. In the end it was a 12 car pile-up. And Chantale Tomoe was in the center of all the mass chaos.
Meanwhile Chantale's cousin was racing on her bike and found the twelve car pile up. She expertly dodged the other vehicles in the rain on her bike. She spotted something crumpled by the side of the road. Something that no one else noticed.
Pulling over to where she spotted it. Shi walked over and realized it was Chantale. Shi began to swear and the storm that was happening went up in its fury a notch.
Touching her cousin Shi realized that Chantale was barely alive. Shaking her head. "You just don't think do you? React..react...react..Chantale. Why do you only react?" Touching her cousin she began to heal her. Healing all her wounds and noticing something that made her more angry. It was a something that Chantale would not realize was happening till a month from then.
Shi sighed as Chantale groaned. "Come on we have to get out of here." Shi helped her cousin on her bike. Placing the extra helmet on Chantale's head. Shi mounted up and left the accident scene.
The EMT's were puzzled when they could not find the driver of the white Honda.
Back at the beach house Shi carried Chantale like she was nothing up the stairs to her room. Laying her cousin down she stripped the younger girl and redressed her in PJs. Placing her under her covers. She gazed down at her cousin. "Your home and I am going to have a long talk with you when you wake up which will be in about an hour."
Chantale groaned in her sleep. For She could feel the fact she was fully healed once more.
Tori groaned looking at the others. They were soaked. "What the hell?"
Hunter shook his head. "When you dance with the devil." he looked at Dustin. "You I've your going to have to prove to Shi you did not seduce Chantale."
Dustin blinked. "Dude?"
Blake blinked. "Prove?"
Even Shane and Cam looked shocked.
Tori looked at Hunter speechless. "Um, Hunter? Do you think that Shi's just a little mad?" Tori asked frowning a bit thinking over what Hunter had said.
Hunter looked at her, sighed loudly and nodded. "Shi's got one hell of a temper on her. And now that she knows that Chantale and Dustin have been friendly in a sexual way with each other." Dustin grimaced. "Her temper's even worse. Shi told me she thinks people should wait. Till they find the right person before they take such a step." He shrugged. "She also said that not having sex is the best way to remain disease free and not pregnant."
The group blinked with Hunter's statement.
At the exact moment a message Came over the loud speaker. "Attention!" It rasped, "There's been a twelve car pile-up on Highway 3 going towards Silver Hills. We advise you to stay away from that area until further notice. That is all." And the message ended. Everyone gave each other quizzical looks.
Then Tori gasped "That's the way Chantale always goes home!" She cried. Grabbing a set of keys out of her pocket, she tore off towards her van to listen to the news report.
The guys quickly followed. Reaching her car they all piled in and Tori snapped on the radio. It was in the middle of a report "....and at the center of the accident scene is what seems to be a crushed Honda CRV. License plate 89076. EMT's say that the driver was not to be found, and they believe that she was thrown from the car, down the steep ravine. Seems like this person was the only one killed. That's it for now, back to you Markus." and the report ended.
"Oh my god" Tori breathed. "That's Chantale's car,oh my god....she, she....she's dead."
Cam sighed. "Tori phone." Motioning for her cell. Cam then handed it ti Hunter. "Call Shi she should be informed of what happened to her cousin."
Hunter nodded and dialed the digits of Shi's number. "Hey babe." The blonde ignored the looks he got from the others for his greeting. ""We just heard about the twelve car pile up on the freeway." Hunter paused and his eyes widened. "You have Chantale. We're coming over." Pausing. "No killing Dustin..and no castrating him either." Hunter smirked watching Dustin out of the corner of his eye. Knowing he was being evil with his next comment.
Dustin paled then looked a little relieved.
"No you can spar with him but no killing him and he needs to at least limp away from the session." Hunter went on noting the look of fear in Dustin's eyes. "We're on out way." Pausing, "Take care Babe."
Looking at the others. "Seems Shi rescued her Coz and took her home." He did not mention that Shi had to heal Chantale before bringing her home. He sighed for Shi had sounded so weakened. He knew healing took a lot out of her.
Arriving at the Tomoe beach house the crew piled out. going inside the unlocked door. Hunter found Shi sitting on the sofa looking pale. "You need to eat." Hunter said concerned.
"Not hungry." Shi whispered. Her weak voice hit all the others with a sinking feeling.
Chantale came down the stairs looking better then she had. "Shi." smiling brightly. "Hi guys."
Chantale stopped short of the living room carpet getting a death look from Shi. Her cousin was angry not really with the two lovers but with the knowledge she held within herself.
Chantale was also tackled by six people. Everyone but he cousin. "Hi guys." she said. "How are you?"
They all stepped back and Blake decided to speak for the group "The better question is, how are you? You were nearly killed out there!"
Chantale frowned. And nodded. "I know. I am fine honestly. I don't even have a screech. Which is really odd."
Shi stood turning to look at her cousin and Dustin. "Everyone except Dustin and Chan, leave now!" Shi growled.
Everyone scampered out of the house and into the backyard. Well except Hunter who stood next to Shi for a moment before stepping closer to her.
Hunter looked at Shi. "Don't do anything stupid Stormy. If you beat on Dustin heal him while you do it." He whispered in her ear.
"I will. I promise Hunter. Now go and join the others." Shi whispered back.
Hunter joined the group on the deck.
Shi spun around to face Dustin, "You little bastard." Shi started. "How dare you deflower my cousin. I'm not going to kill you, but if your lucky I might just make you feel like you want to be dead."
Dustin literally shook.
"Shi! Don't blame Dustin. It wasn't his fault. We both consented to having sex. It was in the heat of the moment." Chantale tried to draw her cousin's anger on her and not Dustin. Not realizing there was more at stake here then she knew.
Shi spun around and looked at her cousin. "So it was not planned then? He did not seduce you??" She asked.
Chantale shook her head 'no' "No Shi, it wasn't."
By this point Shi was livid.
Dustin was trying to sneek away slowly. Only to be cornered by Shi who punched him square in the face, and proceeded to beat the living crap outta him. Shi also did as Hunter asked her too which was heal him while she beat the hell out of him.
Dustin defended himself to the best of his abilities. He could not believe how swift the young woman he was facing was. Dustin realized that Shi was healing him as she beat him up. They exchanged blows, Shi could take as well as give. Dustin prayed this would not go on long. For he did not want to hurt her. He knew he was gaining streangth with each healing she gifted him with. He remained unscathed from her. For the stomcaller was keeping her word to Hunter.
Dustin realized as well that they were fighting using no ninja abilities. He hoped that Chantale would not go off. For he had a bad feeling that Shi would get hurt by her own cousin if Chantale lost it.
Chantale tried to stop her cousin, but was knocked in the face a few times before letting her ninja powers get the best of her. For Chantale was not really realizing that Dustin was holding his own. Nor that her lover was not really harmed.
Chantale let a hard kick land in Shi's back, causing her cousin to scream in agony and fall to the ground. Chantale also lifted Shi almost nine feet into the air before letting her plumet hard, onto the wooden floor.
Shi's back gave a sickening crack and Dustin looked at Chantale in horror. "You broke her back. She saved your life and you killed her."
Chantale looked horrified.
Hunter ran in to look at Shi's very still body he glared at Chantale the sudden realization hit her that Hunter was not one to cross either. "You little Bitch." He scooped Shi . Healing her using Thunder healing Which he concealed from Chantale. He looked at his brother. "Pack her things Blake. Shi is coming with us." Casting looks at both Dustin and Chantale. "I hope you both are fucking happy." With that Hunter took Shi out and placed her limp body in her jeep and went after the bag of her stuff Blake was holding.
Blake tossed the bag to Hunter. "You sure about this Bro?"
"Never been surer." Looking at Dustin noting that even as Shi had beat the hell out of him he was fine. "Noticed your healed. You can thank Shi for that. When I let you near her."
It hit Blake after his brother left that Dustin was fully healed. "Shi healed you and beat the hell out of you."
"I defended myself. Shi is a great warrior." Dustin sat on the sofa looking at Chantale.
Tori was in shock. "Shi saves your life and you repay her how?" Looking at the blonde dancer. "You realize that Shi healed you brought you back here and took care of you."
Chantale shook her head. "Shi attacked Dustin." Even though when she looked at him she realized there was nothing wrong with him.
Cam picked up a piece of paper and he read it. "Interesting list Shi was writing." He looked at Chantale. "Convert spare room. Must pick up a crib, some pink paint, Some baby stuffs." He looked at Chantale. "Seems you are with child only a healer would know such a thing."
Chantale paled.
Reading on. "Ordered it all already." He looked a her. "Be expecting packages." Cam's voice was cold. "I need to go." With that Cam left glad he brought his own car and followed Tori.
