I once knew a girl named Kerry.
Better known these days as, HER.
That name will never again cross my lips.
So to speak. As it were!
She took from me all I had to give
and always came back for more.
I lavished that girl with kindness and love.
But yet was told I'm a bore!
She lied to me so many, many times.
More than I could ever begain to count.
If you could measure the weight of her honesty,
it would weigh out to a wee amount!
I've seen that girl risk life and limb,
for that drug now known as "CRACK".
She'd go anywhere and with anyone,
without a thought of ever coming back!
She stabbed my back one time too many.
She's betrayed me for the very last time.
She'll never again be worthy of my trust,
or run my name through the muck and the grim!
I banish "HER" memory, forever from my head
never again being allowed to return.
My heart I take back and try to repair
from this lifes little lesson I just learned!
