In a battle to (maybe) decide the leader in the Jets division, we saw the FudgePackers and the FlagFootBallers coming up even, with the FudgeMen getting the W with an advantage in the tiebreaker, 9-6. In order for the FudgePackers to gain the division lead they needed to win by 4 points, so the FlagFootBallers remain the top Jet. "It's been an awesome road, man. I've won 6 in a row now, and I'm ready to take the championship trophy home", said cocky FP coach, Pat Matuszak. The FudgePackers will face last place WantasTeam next week, while the 'Ballers will try to put away the struggling DreamTeam. |

Mr.M and the DreamTeam needed wins to remain in competion for their respective division titles, but it was KingGruden and the WhiskeyBoys who had the last laugh as they downed the "better" teams this week. "Let me tell you right now. Nobody, nobody shall take advantage of Gruden", said Scott Kosobocki, king of KingGruden. "I know I'm out of the playoff race, but that doesn't mean I'm gonna let anyone run all over me. Heed my warning RageCagers.", said Mike Higgins, WhiskeyBoys manager, and winner of 2 out of his last 3 matchups. KingGruden will try to rain on the PointPioneers parade next week, while the 'Boyz will try to unseat the 'Cagers. |
