Well a short two and half months later i get a LARGE box delievered to my door. I was shocked that an entire shell could fit in a box but they did it! I opened it up and it was packed nicely with foam boards in between the panels. I only encountered 2 very minor bends in a couple of flange areas that were easily straightened. There were also a couple of spots were the side of the box (staple) scratched a panel. Again, nothing serious and overall, quite surprising considering, size, shape, and how it traveled!
I unpacked it all and laid it out on my basement floor. All parts were accounted floor including a very nice hardware pack with allen buttonhead style bolts, lock washers and nuts. Judging by the amount of hardware, i knew i was in for long night. Ended up taking me 7 hours to assemble by myself, not to bad after all. See pics below.
Quality and fit is INCREDIBLE!! Having had a real 737 cockpit as my first sim, i must say they out did themselves with this shell. Accurate windows and internal dimensions with easy access to rear of MIP make this a no brainer for the sim builder. MUCH MUCH better than the real deal. I found the assembly process both easy and enjoyable but be VERY CAREFUL as there are many sharp edges. I plan to take a small grinder to any edges not hidden behind the interior trim.
In closing, i give BIG KUDO'S to Mr. Cos and his team and am highly impressed with this product. Worth every penny!!!!
