About The Children We Help at Rafiki Caring Home Centers
A family who is not able to raise their children or send them to school. We keep them during the day for them at our center.
These three children are in need. We took only one of
them and plan to take another when we get the funds.
The girl standing alone is called, Damaris Ayunga,
This is her original home. She is an orphan, since her mother died. Her mother was a single mom.
.
We took two of these children into Rafiki and plan to
take more of them as we can afford it.
Children from Rafiki coming from the
sleeping compound to the front.
The children are standing outside the class we have rented for them.
Children standing in front of their sleeping rooms.
Our small teaching rooms.
The Nukuru children in their sleeping room.
Children in the Ibencho Center sleeping room.
I bought matresses for the Ibencho Center,
and the number of children are increasing.
We need more beds and bedding to add more children.
.
A widow mother with her children. Her husband died and she needed help raising and caring for her children. It has been difficult for her. We  we took one, and because of lack of funds, we are not able to take all of her children.
As you see, we used to have many  bring buckets that are carried long distance to fetch water for the children.  They had to line up and get water.  The buckets were carried on the heads of those who fetch water.
These children are from a single mother who  is not able to support her children .
She is wanting our help.
The mother with her children that need our help.
These three boys were from different single mothers. All three of the boy's mothers died. We took one of them into our Rafiki Caring Home. We are hoping to take the other two later when we can.
This family requested us to visit them. We went to see them and they want our help also. You can see that the need is great to help many children.
This is a picture of land we need to purchase to build our dormitory on, as we need more land for Rafiki.
