I am a mother of four and I am on and off Nairobi because of the children work as I go to the centers and even visit families affected by violence and poverty top check how the children are affected. The chief and I do travel in different societies to comfort the orphans, Destitute children and counsel the parents on issues affect in them and the children. And ask them to attend school in our Rafiki Caring Home Schools where they can be sponsored. Another main area where we have found is helping the parents, public, and the affected children is the public shows, seminars, workshops where the public, children and parents raise the Agenda regarding the issue affecting them in the society and we organize for the discussions and get expert opinion and resolutions of their problems. And we get the way forward. WHAT I EXPERIENCE IN THE FAMILY AFFAIRS IS AS FOLLOWS: 1. We travel a lot by walking as we do not have any means of transportation. 2. I am praying if we can get a video camera for the shows to produce video tapes for the rest of the public members as they are educative. 3. Some want poster magazines to illustrate educate them more which we miss the facilities to do so. I pray to work together to help our children. MAY GOD BLESS YOU |
