Activity 2:  Creating a Web Page in Composer
1.  Double Click on Netscape Communicator.  Click on Communicator...Composer.
2.  Type in Your Name's Web Page (example: Mrs. Feldmann's Web Page)
3.  Format the text.  Use the buttons on the bottom toolbar to do edit the text.
      • Highlight the text
      • Change the font size to 18
      • Click on the Bold Icon
      • Click on the down arrow next to the color black (4th down arrow from the left)
      • Choose a shade of Red
      • Pull down the alignment icon on the far right and select center.
4.  Click after the word Page.
5.  Click on the H. Line tool.
6.  Push enter once.
7.  Type Welcome to my page and press enter.
8.  Type I created this page using Netscape Composer.
9.  Highlight the last two lines and make it size 12, bold, make the color blue.
10.Click on File...Save and call it second.html

View the page

1.  Click on View and Page Source to see the HTML code that Composer does automatically for you!
2.  Click on the X to close the file.
3.  Click on the Preview button on the toolbar.  This allows you to preview in the browser.  To return to composer, click on the X in the right hand corner.
