There is rumor spreading that with the starshines falling, new truths about the drow have been revealled.  Some of you may have heard that the Skywall, the false ceiling of Azolin, was placed there by the elves millenia ago.  The elves accomplished this by sacrificing the souls of halflings, accounting for their present state.  The drow were the elves who disagreed with the plan, and were subsequently exiled under the earth.

Be this truth or lies, nothing changes the fact that the drow are responsible for countless atrocities in present-day Azolin.  Whatever their origins, centuries of endless corruption have produced one of the greatest and purest forces for evil on the world.  Despite this, there are accounts of some drow rejecting this culture and acting for good.  The members of the Promenade of Eilistraee are among them, as is the heroic member of Marulama, Balaam Kuu.
