| Sunday - Things worked out so well with our driver that we booked him to take us to Pompeii, Naples and Sorrento. Left the hotel at 8:00AM and got to Pompeii at 10:15. Rain, not good. (The only day it rained while in Italy). The city is large. We only covered 1/8 of it and probably would have seen more if it weren't for the off-and-on rain. This is definitely a place I want to return to and explore. To see more artifacts that were found in the city you need to visit the Archaeological museum in Naples. |
