Saturday -  Had buffet breakfast at the hotel.  At 8:00AM our driver, Paolo, picked us up.

Pisa is a 3 hour drive to the north.  The Italian countryside is beautiful.  Saw many hilltop villages partly surrounded by old stone walls.  Very, very nice.  (NOTE:  we did have to go through several toll booths to Pisa).

Arrived at Pisa at 11:00AM, not too crowded, slightly overcast.  The church, bapistry and tower architecture is beautiful.  Like most tourists we had to do our bit of "leaning" also.
Breakfast at the Hotel Andreotti
The Paris "buffet breakfast" was alot better and fresher then in Rome.  We had fresh baked breads, fruit, yogurt, ham, eggs and cheeses as well as fresh coffee and juices.  OH, I can still taste the croissants.
