| A PERSONAL THANK YOU!! I just want to take a moment to thank everyone that attended the Get Together August 4th and for anyone that contributed to the Pancreatic Cancer Fund in Lou's Memory. It was very much appreciated. We collected a total of $500.00, which is incredible!! It was great seeing everyone again, but always especially great seeing faces we have not seen in over 30 years! Amazing...I love when that happens. Hopefully those of you that attended for the first time won't stay away any longer and will frequent these Get Togethers more often....always a lot of fun and a lot of laughs. No one cares how much weight someone gained or how bad they think they may look...we all have the same feelings...but case in point..we are older..and its not what this evening is about. It's about seeing people that we grew up with...friends we have made for life. My mother used to say "life is too short" and my brother and I used to laugh at her when she said that...but no statement was ever as true as it is right now at this time in our lives... We had an amazing class and it's just been proven to me once again. I know I say that all the time, but I do believe it. If I didn't I wouldn't still be doing this. Its because of all of you..that I continue to organize these parties! You're the best!!
