This is just my interpretation of the song, from a DBZ fan's point of view.  OLP fans, please don't flame me if you don't like what you're reading right now.  In fact, hit the "back" button on your browser if you know you're not gonna like this.  As for those of you who stayed, put on the song while you read this, okay?  You'll get a feel for the song, and it just sounds cool.

"One Man Army" DBZ Lyrical Analysis

Take these plastic people,
Read their lips,
Now let it linger.
Is there anything that makes them sound sincere?

The "plastic people", I would have to say, are the androids/cyborgs/artificial humans.  As for the rest of that verse, it's a reference to their (supposedly) "evil" ways.  I mean, come on!  They devastated the world in Mirai Trunks' timeline, and they tried to kill Goku!  But then again, they were programmed to do those things, so I guess they were just following orders.  But I digress.

Come on,
Tightly hold your hand,
Take a deep breath,
Give them the finger.
Are you worried that the thoughts are not quite clear?

I think this is just about the swearing and other stuff that was edited out of North America's Dragon Ball Z (by the hands of FUNimation *shudder*).  It's "not quite clear" because they edited out some important stuff or stuff that's fun to watch (bring on the blood!).

Twitch!

Have you seen their faces whenever they power up, or watch a battle?

Overlooked, unfit appearance...

How many times has Goku ripped his shirt in a fight?

I remember falling,
I remember marching,
Like a one man army.

Whenever they fall down, they just get right back up and stride gallantly into the fight.  ^_^

Through the flames I know I'm coughing.
I believe in something.
I don't wanna remember falling,
For your lies.

There's a lot of destruction for just one fight, ne?  But hey, they're fighting because they believe in saving the world and universe!  As for the "falling for your lies" part, you decide.

Unbutton your clothes,
Undress your soul,
Show them your vigor.
Are those inhibitions easiest to fear?

Even with torn clothes, they do have some pretty cool battle auras.  And boy, when they power up, they have the enemy shaking scared!

Come on,
Take this gasoline tin,
Head up high,
Walk like a winner,
Let the bare feet by the last sounds that they hear.

They always walk away victorious from a fight, but not without blasting the enemy to bits.  I wonder, what *is* the last sound the bad guy hears?

Twitch!
Overlooked, unfit appearance...

Again with the facial spasms and torn clothes!

And then it goes to the chorus.  But you already get the point, right?

Thanks for reading this, I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did!
