Star Otaku:  Sorry everyone, no jokes today or rants.  Today I'm interviewing a great Goku and Chi-Chi shipper and fanfic writer, Evercool!  Welcome to the column.  Let's start things off and tell us all a little bit about yourself.

Evercool:  *sits and takes a HUGE sigh* Where do I start?  I've got one heck of a life, but I'll only say what's actually interesting to you all.  I am and always have been the more "unruly" girl in town.  I don't wear frilly things or anything pink, because it's to plain girly for me.  I fight for fun, (not to draw blood and kill) I'm talking fist fighting, pin ya' down for ten seconds fighting.  I do this with my pal Brandon (18 yrs.old) and wanna know what's weird!?  He looks like Trunks with blonde hair!!!  Fighting I believe is what drew me to DBZ.  I've been a DBZ fan for about 4 years now, he likes it too.  So in general I'm your basic over-aggressive, kick your butt if you flirt with me-kinda girl!

Star Otaku:  Okay... *grabs lunch bag for protection* So, I heard that you immigrated from the Fanfiction Network (may it rest in peace).  Do you still miss it?

Evercool:  *twiddles thumbs and thinks a moment* Fanfiction Network?  Well, I do like my new home a lot, but the only thing I miss is the rating system were people rate your story on a scale of one to ten, and it averages all of the rates together and there's a top 25 authors list.  I liked that, it gave authors something to work for.  But then there was always someone who would sabotage the rating system so I like my new home better now.

Star Otaku:  If you've noticed, the authors here at FanFiction.Net have made an identity for themselves.  We mostly read that some of the Animorphs writers need to take anti-depressants, an insane author started and ended a war months ago, and I'm a DBZ songfic writer from Pluto that carries around a lunch bag (which I use to bash people in the head with! ^_^*)  Do you have a special trademark as an author?

Evercool:  Oh, the trademark... hmmm.  That all depends.  Me? I'm a comedy/romance writer who carries a sketch pad *with a DBZ Goku/Chi Chi collectors card on the front* every which way she goes.  Which I have to mention also makes a great mallet to hit others over the head with, and even has been used as bee-repellent ^.^

Star Otaku:  Yay!  Fellow basher!

Ami:  Oh my god!  Evercool!  AAAHHH!!! *runs up and hugs Evercool* I love your fanfics!

Evercool:  *sweatdrop* ... and... I love yours... too...*pats Ami very reluctantly on the back*

Star Otaku:  Forgive her.  She's one of my multiple personalities.  She's the smart and anime loving one.

Evercool:  And don't we all have one of them? ...Don't answer that.

Star Otaku:  Ami!  Get off of the interviewee and go back to Pluto and study or something!

Ami:  *lets go of evercool* Fine. But don't blame me if you get a 70% on your next math test instead of a 95%. *leaves*

Star Otaku:  Sorry about that.  I forgot to mention that while I live on Pluto, I share the little planetoid with six other personalities.  They make up the me in real life.

Evercool:  I know, don't you just hate it when your other selves get in the way!!?  I drives me crazy I tell you...

Star Otaku:  Okay, now.  Back on track.  Just to ask, why did you become a Goku and Chi-Chi shipper?

Evercool:  You know, it's quite strange actually... I have always had a small "thing" for them ever since I started watching DBZ (4 years ago) because I thought it was funny how she pushed him around so much.  AND THEN- *danger music* I started drawing them! *music blast's and gasps are heard* And I don't know why the heck it was but I found Goku, Chi Chi, Bulma, and Juhachigou the easiest to draw.  But I made so many cute little piccys of G & CC that I started drawing comics of them and then that lead to stories yadda yadda yadda yadda!!!!! *All of the sudden excited* And now here I am today!!!! *BIG freaky smile*

Star Otaku:  I love them because they are just so cute!  I mean ever since I saw dubbed Dragon Ball (not Z), I always wondered what would happen when they grew up and got married.  I've seen that you've made a web-page.  What plans do you have for it?

Evercool:  Yes, A LOT!!  There will be music videos, which I have done but still have to figure out how to put them up.  And then also, I plan to have all of the "illustration friendly" fanfics of mine up too ^.^!!!  And I will add every new drawing I do!

Star Otaku:  Along with the future of your web page, where do you think the future of all DBZ shippers will go?  Will there be more Goku and Chi-Chi fans thanks to pioneers like us? *hopeful look in eyes* 

Evercool:  I would expect so, after all, if people like us spill our G & CC pictures and stories everywhere then it will influence everyone one way or another.  And the stories would all have been a waste if it didn't make people like them more now wouldn't it?  And I would never let anything go to waste... except shots. *shudder* The most aggressive girl here is afraid of nothing except the evil of shots!!!

Star Otaku:  For your fics, do you have any inspiration from real life for your fics, or is it just anything your twisted head can churn out?  For me, it's both.

Evercool:  My head is a very scary and dangerous place.  That's were my comedy stories come from.  But the romance comes from experience and real life I guess.  You see, (I am about to make a completely open and amazing statement that even I can't believe I'm saying) at my age, it's practically impossible, but I'm so aggressive and over-protective of my personal space that I haven't even been kissed by a guy ('cept my Dad but you know what I mean) my whole life! *gasp huh?* So I guess I've always had a bit of "mush" in me that needed to escape if there was no one to spend it on, so I express the side of me that never shows itself in my stories.  I also listen to two types of music... the kind you blast the speakers with, and mushy love songs.  And they give me inspiration too.

Star Otaku:  Before we end this interview, would you like to make a plug?  Mention one of your fanfics, give us a preview, rave about your site.  Anything?

Evercool:  Well, I would appreciate it if someone would tell me how to get the darn music vids up.  But besides that, I'm putting up another "Things DBZ People Never Say" list.  And I'm going to start on a story that I know has been done before in several different ways, but I couldn't resist doing it my way.  It's about Goku taking Chi Chi to some secret place were they can be alone etc.  Also another sneak preview, I'm going to do another story were Goku, Chi Chi, Vegeta, Bulma, Juhachigou, and Kurillin all go out for a night on the town... things get crazy, that's all I can say.  And I'm working on a Goku and Chi Chi music video too, that's all my memory will give me on the future.

Star Otaku:  Thanks a lot Evercool for being here.  Now, fret not!  I will do the Animorphs and Harry Potter reviews (although I am unfamiliar with them), as Becker requested of me.  This is my first time doing an official column review, so please be patient if I choose the wrong stories or write a stinking review.

Animorphs:
"Wherever Home Is" -Becker Wein
Now, don't think of this review as rigged.  I have read the reviews for this story, and I will go on record to say that this fanfic is not meant to offend anyone!  As a close friend of Becker, she is not racist in real life, but she is trying to create a character that is prejudiced, not racist.  Where the line is crossed between those two things, I don't know.  Now, Jessica is not meant to be antagonized, but for further character development, we'll have to wait for Becker to finish the story.
"Always Be My Best Friends" -TobiasFan
This is a bit short, but good to read.  I think it's from Rachel's POV.  Anyway, I chose this fic because, well, it's a songfic!  And I love songfics since I write them myself.  Oh yeah, and being a Pokemon fan helps, too.  The way that TobiasFan made the song fit to the Anipmorphs team is wonderful.  So go on, read it!

Harry Potter:
"Harry Potter Goes to Las Vegas"- Caesar
As a humour enthusiast, I wanted to read something funny.  So, I chose this.  Hey, the title caught my eye!  If I fully understood Harry Potter, then I would be laughing until my sides were sore.  But this was still funny; from fake IDs, the mob, Hermione addicted to the slots, Dean changing his musical tastes, and two people eloping.  That's all the mayhem and more you can get out of Harry Potter and the gang when they go to the glittering (and gambling) paradise! *sigh* I think I've been reading too many "DBZ Gang Goes to Las Vegas" stories.

There are the reviews and that's the end of this column!  Now I have a newfound respect for all of those column writers out there.  This is really hard work!   I did have fun writing this, but don't expect me to be writing another one for Becker real soon.  Again, comments are to be sent to me: [email protected].  I will throw all flames into my newly built furnace, or use them to make s'mores when I toast marshmallows.
