Busted at the Beach
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: Not much, it’s just based a lot on silly "sexual" remarks between people.
Setting: Goku and Chi Chi are in their 20’s at this time, Vegeta and Bulma have their relationship in progress and are in their 30’s, and Gohan isn’t in the story, but to answer any question, he’s off with Piccolo training some were. And as usual I try not to stretch anyone’s personality to much out of normal.
Chi Chi had earlier gotten really mad at Goku for letting Gohan skip studying to train with Piccolo, and had hit him on the head with a frying pan again.
His big smile couldn’t get him out of this one. Goku hated it when Chi Chi was mad at him, and it frustrated him even more when he couldn’t figure out a good way to make up for it.
But, this time he remembered Chi Chi constantly bringing up how nice it would be to go to the beach. But, then he also remembered that the last time he took her to the beach was over a year ago. So now he had to get her a swimsuit also!
But he couldn’t tell her about it because he wanted it to be a surprise. And by now Goku was confusing himself with his own thoughts.
But at least he could remember were she liked to shop, so he flew as fast as he could.
He flew right through the automatic doors, but almost smashed into them because they didn’t open quickly enough. He got a lot of odd looks, whispering, and giggles from the women in the store, but a manager was quickly by his side to assist him.
"How may I help you today?" the lady said with a sparkling fake smile. Goku said that he needed to get a swimsuit for his wife.
"Oh, of course! We have a wonderful selection!" the woman said dragging Goku over toward the swim wear.
"Her favorite color is purple," Goku stated.
"What size?" the lady asked politely, wondering what this strange man's wife looked like.
"Uh,…size??" Goku asked awkwardly (more giggles from the women). Goku totally forgot what size Chi Chi wore. "Uh, I actually don’t know, but she’s about 5ft 3inches tall and, uh…" Goku continued by searching through his pockets and pulling out a picture of Chi Chi.
The woman was impressed with Chi Chi’s looks, and made a very good judgments in her size.
She first pulled out a really skimpy suit and showed him, but Goku just blushed and explained he didn’t want something like that, but that a normal 2 piece would be fine. So the lady pulled out a cute and not too revealing suit.
"Yeah! That’s more like it!!" Goku yelled in a surprisingly cheery voice that just brought more whispers among the women.
After that Goku was wondering how he should go about getting Chi Chi to the beach. He decided he’d see how forgiving she was first.
He flew in the bedroom window and landed next to the bed. She was taking a nap.
He thought again for a moment, and then leaned over and kissed her cheek to wake her up.
"Uuuuugh? What? Goku? When did you get back?" Chi Chi asked, sitting up in bed.
"I got a surprise for you." Goku said, now sitting on the corner of the bed. He pulled a little purple bag out that was filled with hundreds of little pink pieces of fluff.
Chi Chi’s eyes lit up as she took the package. "GOKU!!! YOU REMEMBERED!" Chi Chi said wrapping her arms around his neck. If he was a normal human she probably would have suffocated him. "When can we go??? Chi Chi said happily.
"I was hoping we could go today," Goku replied in a boyish voice.
Chi Chi ran in the bathroom to change and Goku got on his swim trunks.
And so, Goku took off with Chi Chi comfortably snuggling into his neck.
And now, believe it or not, a very odd looking couple was already at the beach "peacefully" tanning. Vegeta and Bulma!
The tanning session would have been more peaceful if Vegeta wouldn’t have been threatening the lives of all the guys taking second looks at Bulma. But otherwise they were having a good time.
Goku landed near the water and gently set Chi Chi down to find a spot. Goku obviously didn’t sense Vegeta because their power levels were both pushed down so low, and Vegeta didn’t sense Goku either.
Goku happily plopped down next to Chi Chi in the sand. "Can we go swimming??" Goku asked innocently.
"Uh, sure I guess it would be nice to swim," Chi Chi admitted.
So while Goku amusingly hovered around in the water, Chi Chi just enjoyed watching him goof off. Then all of the sudden he vanished.
She looked around a little worried. "Goku? Goku what happened?? Are you ok? Goku!!??" She started thinking he could’ve bummed his head and drowned or something but then…
"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Chi Chi screamed.
Goku had grabbed her legs and pulled her under. "Ha ha! I got you!" Goku yelled playfully after coming back to the surface.
"Goku! You goof!!!" Chi Chi said splashing Goku in the face.
Goku pulled out a little pill shaped object. "I came prepared!" he said happily. And tossed the little object that Bulma used to scare him with when he was young. The capsule expanded into an air mattress.
"You thought of everything," Chi Chi said in approval. She climbed onto the float and laid back.
Goku hovered over and gently set himself down by her (being careful not to flip the float). He fiddled with her hair a little bit and then kissed her again. Goku was now in a very weird position sort of on top of her, but at the same time trying to balance the float.
"KAKAROTE!!!!!!!!!!" Vegeta yelled as he popped his head up from under the water on the opposite side of Goku.
"WWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!" Goku yelled almost standing up, but immediately lost balance clumsily falling off the float in a huge *SPLASH!!!*
Vegeta blinked, a little surprised in receiving a bigger reaction than he expected.
"Goku!! Are you ok??!" Chi Chi asked waiting for an answer.
Goku came up to the surface with a huge gasp, signaling an ok sign with his right hand while he was still choking on water. "VEGETA!!! SHEEEESH!! DON’T DO THAT AGAIN!! YOU SCARED ME HALF TO DEATH!!!" Goku yelled.
"I heard your wife scream a minute ago and I couldn’t resist sneaking up to humiliate you," Vegeta replied.
"Well I hope you’re happy!" Chi Chi snapped at Vegeta with a glare that made Vegeta shudder.
"Vegeta! I thought I told you to leave them alone!!!!!" Bulma shouted from the shore, having seen the whole thing.
"Oh great. That woman is going to give me a lecture again," Vegeta said slowly swimming back to shore.
"I’m sorry Chi Chi, I almost knocked you off the float to," Goku said with a disappointed face.
Chi Chi laughed and flicked a little water at him to get him to smile. This turned into a playful water fight in less than a minute.
Goku smiled his big happy smile and was happy Chi Chi had forgiven him, he just hoped Gohan was smart enough to be at home by the time him and Chi Chi got back.
