Misc. Author Info : I make lots of wads. That's about it.

Description : A realistic interpretation of an area I
                        live near. The map contains:

                        a library (obvious),
a town hall (it's wooden inside),
a community centre (the one with the blinds),
a dumpster (the green startan object),
                        a delivery truck (also obvious).

I've worked very hard on making this map
                        geographically accurate, aesthetically speaking,
that is. It would be very difficult to make a
map with the exact dimensions of a real-life
area (though I follow that 9.6 pixels is one
foot). I've made lots of new textures and such
to fit well in this level and they complete the
                        atmosphere.

                        Notes on utilities:

Light switches are supplied for most rooms. These
are represented by little tan light switch textures
placed on the walls of affected rooms. A rule of
thumb: the left switch always turns off the lights,
and the right switch turns them on. Due to the limits
of the DOOM triggers, the light levels are 0 and 255.
Oh well. The blinds in the community centre are
always bright when closed and viewed from the outside.
I've implemented much twickery in this level,
such as self-referencing sectors, windows you CANNOT
shoot through, and one-line-sector blinds that can
be opened and closed with a switch. Enjoy!

			Notes on the DooM engine:

Some things in this level are unrealistic and
just plain wrong due the lovely limits of our
favorite game. You may notice that the top of the
town hall gets cut of when you view it from behind
the library. The blinds are always 192 light level
and the floors of the door in the bathroom stalls
                        are bright always.

If you want to exit the stage:

In the front of the library (the side with the
light switchs next to the main door) there are
two computers to your immediate _left_. The one
farthest to the left is the exit switch. Simply
                        press the monitor to exit.

Base : New level from scratch
Editor(s) used : Waded 1.83, Paint, Wintex 4.3, BSP 2.3
Known Bugs : Maybe a VISPLANE overflow if you get it just right.
Watch it in front of the town hall while looking at
it. There used to be a nice little visplane (145)
overflow near the northwest corner of the comm.
centre and looking towards the library, but I
believe I've fixed this one. If you get one,
don't worry, just restart. I'd really have to gut
my level to get rid of all the visplane overflows.
