3000 Miles To Graceland
3000 Miles To Graceland - You can pretty much judge from the picture what this film is like.  Kevin Costner, Kurt Russell, Christian Slater, David Arquette and Bokeem Woodbine all dressed up as Elvis (In this scene they were also carrying automatic weapons).  This flim is definitely not one for the critics, they hate it!  However, I loved it.  First class action, amusing comedy, and some really quirky stuff.  What is thought to be stupid film about a bunch of Elvis wannabees turns out to be a well thought dilemma as to who (if any) was The King's true son, plus a not stellar but still a good plot line.  Hidden messages lay throughout this film.  So if you're looking for a rather mindless afternoon of violence and comedy, go see 3000 Miles To Graceland.  However, if films that make sense and are slightly realistic are your gig, you might want to pass.
The Mummy
Returns
The Mummy Returns is definitely one of those rare occurances where a sequal can actually equal or surpass the original.  The Mummy Returns is a very entertaining film.  The action is great, the comedy is hilarious, and the story line lacks a bit, but this a movie where people just love not caring about something like plot.  The one dissapointment it may have for some is that WWF's The Rock only has about three minutes of screen time in the whole film, while still managing to play a key character.  O'Connell (Brendan Fraiser) is definitely back in this hair raising sequel.  Fraiser unpacks a few hundred cans of whoopass on a few 5 millenium old beasts.
The Mummy Returns is a great film, if you're looking for plainly a good time at the theater, go see this movie!
