In the
90's, Depeche Mode have remained innovative and interesting, and the complexity
and beauty of their music is a constant source of fascination and inspiration
for me. Their chart success is testament to their continued relevance and
excellence.
I try, therefore, to be inspired by Depeche Mode without being too derivative.
Like them, melody and rythmn are combined in my music with lyrics that
deal with love, lust, mortality, good, evil, joy, despair, salvation and
destruction. Unlike them I do not restrict myself to male vocals, and
when I do not perform the vocals myself, I collaborate with female vocalists.
