DR. T. GALEN HIERONYMUS was born on November 21, 1895, at Valpariso, Indiana. He grew up as the eldest son in a large family and lived the normal country life. Always had a curious nature and was thrilled when, as a young boy of 8 years, was introduced to the telegraph and morse code.

As he grew older his activities with the telegraph became more intense. And in 1911,a time when most people didn't know what "wireless" was, he built his first wireless set. He was 16 years old.

During that same year he had a wireless station in operation, and in 1913 when a license to operate became mandatory, he proved that he actually had a wireless station in operation by 1912, and was able to aquire a "grandfathers license" which meant he did not have to take the examination to become an operator. Galen hieronymus, was the only boy scout in the united states who built and demonstrated a wireless set to a district scout meeting.

In 1916, Galen joined the National guard and met a Dr. Planck, a beginning of a long lasting friendship. Hieronymus built electrical equipment according to his specifications for use in his medical practice and , in turn, Dr. Planck took care of Galen's health.

Hieronymus earned his way thru the ranks in 1916 to Master Signal Electrician, Kansas City, Mo, National Guard, Company A. It was during this time of anticipated war with Germany that he continued to work with wireless sets, designing and building electrical, medical equipment for doctors, scout work, and functioning as Master Signal Electrician in the National Guard.

War was declared as expected and after marrying his first wife set sail for france. During this time in France he was commissioned to find a location for a school and set up a classroom instructing the intracacies of building repairing and using wireless equipment. He was honorably discharged from the Army in 1919.

During the 30's Galen was married to louise, had two children, earned his Eagle Scout rank, continued in the National Guard, was elected to the local school board, and was made Chief Engineer of the Underground Power Installation Dept., Kansas City, MO. The Kansas City Power and Light Company finished their new 32-story building in 1930. Galen's office was on the 16th floor.

It was during the 30's that Galen studied plants and minerals and their relationship with different forms of energy, including the emanation of energy from these materials.

Also, during this time period, Galen's wife, Louise, was diagnosed with heart problems. He was familiar already with many medical machines because he had worked closely with doctors over the years in building them. The Hieronymus family unhappy with the treatments of the day and, Louise, unable to just stay in bed and rest all the time, they turned to one particular alternative medical device that was popular during the time and that Galen happened to be working on for a Dr.J.W. Wigglesworth. The Pathoclast. Louise and Galen read the instructions and tried it out. They were pleased with the results and so this lead to, of course, greater interest in this sort of device. They joined the Pathometric Society, a group of chiropracters and physicians who used instruments to heal people. This seems to be a turning point in Galen Hieronymus' life. A beginning of sorts of his detailed studies in producing his "healing machines."
