| NEWS! To honor Eddie's memory, a group of his friends have begun a Music Scholarship Fund to provide assistance to youths who could not otherwise afford music lessons. There will be a benefit concert on Saturday, 1/22/05 at the Tropical Escape Cafe in Rock Hill, beginning 9:00 PM. Music will include performances by Slippy Rock (Brother Dave Lowe, Scott Bristow, Dusty Singleton), Jim Every, Wes Holland, Kelly's Heros (Wane Marett, Ralph Robinson, Greg Brangle, Barry Webster, Eddie Barnette), SEVEN (Benny Edwards, Mark Cullum, Scott Bristow, Jeannie Bristow, John Jordan, Lou Lambruschi) and Lenny Federal. Raffle tickets will be available for $1 each, and prizes include a new Taylor acoustic guitar, Fractal Art, and much more.
