Welcome to REAL, a L'Arc~en~Ciel fan site!
For the uninitiated, L'Arc~en~Ciel is one of the most popular contemporary bands in Japan.
Their sound is rock with occasional elements of pop. Their name is derived from the French word
for "rainbow." They consist of Hyde on vocals, Ken on guitar, Tetsu on bass, and Yukihiro on drums.
You can acquaint yourself with animated versions of the members in the lefthand frame.
L'Arc~en~Ciel have been around for a while. They were formed in 1991 and made their major debut in 1994.
They released numerous hit singles and albums until they decided to take a
break in 2001. Hopefully, they come back and produce more noteworthy material in the future.
I based this site on "REAL" because I like that album and period of the band's career.
