This is when it all started.Earthworm Jim was released in the 3rd quarter(July,August & September)of 1994. It was released on such platforms as SEGA GENESIS,SUPER NINTENDO,SEGA GAMEGEAR,NINTENDO GAME BOY,NINTENDO GAME BOY ADVANCE & PC.
SHINY ENTERTAINMENT was the one that made the original and this was also their first game. SHINY made big with this game and is still well known today. SHINY is to be known as one of the best game companies in the world. Earthworm Jim started SHINY'S popularity and Earthworm Jim is also known as one of the most popular videogame characters in the world, aside from Mario,Sonic,Crash Bandicoot,Spyro and Donkey Kong.
Earthworm Jim became so popular, that it got it's own TV show, line-up of action figures & comic books. Earthworm Jim's Birthday is December 8th, 1993. That's what it says in the SEGA GENESIS INSTRUCTION MANUAL for the game. |
