Doomsday! In a big event near the end of Chris Claremont's time on the Fantastic Four, Doom returned with a full host of comic books to celebrate his presence in the Marvel Universe! However, immediately following his battle with the Dreaming Celestial, he has disappeared, leaving Reed to walk around in his armor. So everyone thinks that Reed is Doom because Reed cannot escape the armor. Furthermore, Reed must keep up the pretense in order to keep Doom's army from stomping all over the planet and being pesky. This doesn't make Reed very happy, particularly since instead of being able to wrap his malleable arms around his wife Sue, he has to get married to her as his worst enemy in order to make everyone but himself (and all of his allies) happy. Whew! That's a tall order! But in the meantime, the Adventure Trail was abuzz with the question: "Where is Doom?" Well, since Reed is facing down a nightmare (that he has, in essence, become Doom), Doom must be doing the same in the aftermath of the Celestial battle. Here was the Fantastic Four Adventure Trail's Top Ten Things That Most Likely Happened to Doctor Doom! |
