In the Spring of 2003, I took a course called English 217: Writing Reflective Essays. There were 4 assigments, in this order: Write a reflective essay on the "self;" write a reflective essay on the "other;" write a reflective essay on an idea or a belief; and write a reflective essay on an ethical problem. Here they are:

On Merging the Retention of Dreams With the Unbearable Task of Growing Up

Teaching Against Class Distinctions in a Society that Perpetually Reinforces Them; Or, How to Slay the Dragon

This is a Reflective Essay on Spontaneity. Sort of.

On Violence, Specifically the Variety Imposed on Animals
