Hoboken, New Jersey (AKA Mile Square Town for its miniscule acreage) is the new community I moved in September, 2004. I have wanted to live here since its first discovery in 1998 (by me, not Columbus), when I came to buy a pre-owned red Dodge Neon for a lovely lady. This is the best town along the west side of Hudson River close to NYC. The PATH subway train can take me to World Trade Center in 10 minutes or Emperor State Building in 15. Hoboken is a town with great history. Baseball and Frank Sinatra were born/made here. For people like me, not a fan of either, I have my reasons to love it. All within 15 blocks, Hoboken has over 100 places to eat, more dry cleaners than my shirts, and about 2 dozens bars (I cannot count precisely after all the drinks). Even though I prefer to cook and drink at home, I have the options of being served (lazy);;; Oh, forget to mention that over 75%+ residents here are young single professionals (spoiled rich brats);;; Some arrogant New Yorker thought Hoboken is a college town in another 'country'. It is totally wrong. Not many college kids can afford to live here and be drunk every day (unless they have family 'scholarships'). The cost of living is sky high here;;; With easy ride to New York City and the convenient access to food, women and everything else, I will stay here for a while. Come visit some time?
