Guile-Alfador Theory

Warning: Contains some CT/CC spoilers. This theory owns, yo.

I'm sick and tired of people saying that Guile is Magus and stuff. I mean, come on, where the hell's your originality?! Sure, it seems like the most logical response, seeing as how they both float to run. If they both float to run, that means they HAVE to be the same!!

::coughs::

Anyway, I think Guile is Alfador. Not Magus. Not Flea. Not a rock. ALFADOR. Magus' kitty. Reasons? I don't need no stinkin' reasons!!...>_<

- Alfador's fur and Guile's hair are pretty damn close in color. It's that light-purplish-white kind of color.

- For two, you don't know where the HELL Guile came from. He just sort of pops up out of nowhere in the story.

-For three, when you talk to the Fortune Lady in Termina after you're done with Viper Manor, Guile's forced to take off his mask. The screen goes black, and the lady says "D...dear me!" or something that makes old ladies show surprise. Meaning that there's obviously something weird with his face. That leads me to conclude that he's either got scars, or whiskers by his eyes. You know, like cats do. For the sake of this rant, I'm going to say the latter rather than the former.

- If you talk to the Fortune Lady in Termina again, Guile will say, "I learned that the world is full of "enigma". I will be joining these people on their quest." or something to that extent. The fact that enigma was in quotation marks means that he doesn't exactly know about the world. Magus would know about the world, and ESPECIALLY about enigmas. Cats wouldn't.

- Alfador turning into a human isn't a farfetched idea. Look at what Magus did to Glenn in Chrono Trigger!

Reasons that Guile could NOT be Alfador:

- Alfador lives waaaaaaaaaay back in the past, and wasn't around when Schala got sucked into a time gate or whatever. So, I must say again, the cat either ran into a really freaky spell, or they aren't one and the same.

Reasons that Guile could be Magus:

- They both do the floaty-thing. Woo.

- They're both black/shadow innate.

Reasons that Guile CANNOT be Magus:

-Magus wielded a scythe. He would not degrade his coolness factor by switching to a floaty staff.

- Magus was NOT FRIENDLY. He did NOT LIKE PEOPLE. Magus was a stubborn, cold badass. He was taunted when he was little for being the only person in Zeal who couldn't cast spells. Then all the shiznit happened with his mother and sister, which probably made him doubly depressed. Then he got kidnapped by Ozzie. Spending years with Ozzie CANNOT be good for the spirit. Searching for years after his long-lost sister isn't going to do wonders for his personality. The fact that he's stubborn means that he wouldn't have been able to change his ways, even if Schala asked nicely.

- Magus said contractions. Magus even said 'ain't'. Guile, however, talks in complete words. He never says a contraction the ENTIRE GAME.

- Their hair is totally different. Sure, the color's different, but look at Magus' head, and then look at Guile's head. Magus has a widow's peak. Guile does not. Don't try to convince me otherwise, but NO SPELL IN THE ENTIRE GODDAMN WORLD will remove a widow's peak.

Guile is Alfador. 'Nuff said.
