Nature
Of all the gifts God granted us, the most thoughtful gift is nature. Nature- that amazes us with its diversity, with its uniqueness and with its inevitability. We humans have been careless, or rather ungrateful, for this most wonderful gift. Nature is so considerate that she has in herself the solutions for every problem that we create by disrupting her rhythm and disobeying her laws. There is not even a grass blade that is useless, not a life without purpose... The hidden powers of the shrubs on the roadside and the grass we walk on, will humble us, make us realize that how significant every creation and also how insignificant we are without each other. The charm of herbs is irresistible, the cures they promise is mind-boggling, yet they live on as the humblest creations, bowing in front of everyone who is their benefactor. The greatness of a tree, for an instance, is an eye- opener. Sleeping in the meekest of a dwelling, called seed, is a mighty life. It sprouts, grows and establishes itself fighting the innumerous odds... and when it is done with its own establishment it provides home for the birds, the squirrels and the countless creatures that depends on green friends for aid. It provides shade for the weary traveler, air for all life to breathe, rain for the earth to quench her thirst and fruits for the hungry life that seeks. It seeks out ways for spreading her goodwill and care, sends her tiny seeds to be scattered around the world... so that the chain goes on and on and on...... And when a man comes to chop her flesh, kill her and to take herself, she still gives him the shade from sun, still keeps her best fruits for him.........until she breathe her life's last breath.
