LOVE
The one thing that makes life meaningful and living worthwhile is Love. Love transcends all barriers-of distance, of time and other innumerable factors that separate man from man. I define love in a more comprehensive manner. The love we feel for those who loves us is natural and normal. I don't say its unworthy.... But we humans are said to be endowed with special intelligence ; even a pet animal would love the people who take care of it. So if we need to raise above the mediocrity, to prove ourselves worthy of the pain God took to create us, we need to love in a better way. To love unconditionally, all alike- to equally like those who bless us or curse us, to like with same depth those who help us or hurt us; then and only then shall we be His true followers.
I have always tried to like people by not getting attached to them.. with most u can practice but with some u fail. But sometime in life we are blessed with the company of special people, people who leave us in awe of them. People whose presence has changed our lives and touched our souls. To them we get attached, in spite of trying hard, or maybe we don't want to try enough... we get attached to them. We want them to be a part of our life for every moment ahead... alas! such thoughts remain wishful thinking. Everyone we meet in our life is a guest, they will inevitably pack their bags and leave us one day. Still we expect them to stay, though we know they have to go.... And slowly after they leave we realize that this is the beginning of another beautiful phase in the relation, time to reminisce the golden memories of olden days, to smile at the things we did together.....
Not to get bound to such special people is a tough job, but it has to be done- there is no easy way out... If we have to free our life from bondages, if we have to live according to our call, we have to break the bondages of earthly relations and instead link our heart with the Divinity inside. I have been constantly trying though unsuccessfully, but I guess time will let me perfect the art of loving truly with no inhibitions, no bondages nor selfishness.
