DUALITY
"You" and "me" were obvious
Since Eve was made by God.
"Yours" and "mine" were conspicuous
Since day was made by God.
Yet I feel that this "you" and "me"
Are absurd gibes of man
'Cos the shine that twinkles in our eyes
Are one and same for all.
Soil, water, air and fire
Together with jeweled sky
That is what each of us are
Made by mighty Lord.
We live our life with pang and joy,
We live our life with hope,
But we fight too for mere fame or gold,
We fight for a seconds joy.
Duality is evanescent
As every fake a thing,
Since "you" and "me" or "yours" and "mine"
Are true for just a day.
What I am today, you may be next
What was yours may now be mine
So no point in "you" and "me"
The only truth is "us".
We could be purged from all our sins
And we could be let free
Only if we slough off from mind
The vengeful things of two.
The only truth is inside us
The only truth is Love-
When Love dawns then
There's no two things
There's only "ours" or "us".
