Stand (Presbyterian later Unitarian) Chapel Ringley Road
- First meetings were in a barn on Higher Lane
- Chapel erected 1693 in Pilkington near the top of Stand Lane.
- Chapel burned down by German incendiary bombs during an air raid on 22 December 1940
- Replaced by present building in 1955 on same site
- By 1783 a Sunday School existed.

Stand Independent Chapel - now (2002) known as Stand United Reform (half-way up the hill of Stand LaneStand Lane)
- Seceded from Stand Presybyterian in 1791
- New brick chapel opened 9 April 1819
- (the Congregational doctrine was carried to Water Lane in 1847 - see below)
- 1886 (28 October) the present stone church opened

Radcliffe Congregational Church
(since 1972 the Radcliffe United Reformed Church) (Water Street opposite top of Spring Lane)
- began initially in two cottages in Thomas Street
- former Mechanicss Institute on Mow Brow (now Church Street West) purchased and fitted as a chapel - opened 26 January 1848
- 1866 a large schoolroom built on Water Street at the top of Spring Lane which also served as a chapel
- 1872 (15 June) separate church erected next door
- 1980 - main school building and church demolished and a new church built on the site of the old, opening on 6 December 1980
(Trinity) Baptist Church (Church Street West, later Westminster Avenue))
- formed 15 December 1880 in the Co-operative Hall
- soon moved to the Winders and Weavers' Hall in School Street
- October 1896 newly built Trinity Baptist Church and school opened in Church Street
- 1983 new church opened in Westminster Avenue
- 1986 old church roof collapsed and rest of building quickly demolished
Society of Friends (Quakers)
- 1660s & 1670s meeting at John Townson's house in Radcliffe (where abouts ?)
- 1886 adult school started in Foundry Street
- 1892 new Meeting House and schoolroom erected on corner of Victoria Street/Lord Street, opened for use November 1892
- 1950s meetings ceased to be held and building gifted to Salvation Army
Salvation Army
- met in a succession of premises until inheriting former Quaker building as above in 1950s
- 1995 local unit ceased to function
Church of Latter Day Saints (Mormons)
- 1890s mission set up in former hand-loom weavers' cottages near bottom of Stand Lane but left after several years
- 1960s returned to Radcliffe & purchased Wilton House in Hardman Street
- not long after moved to new purpose-buil church on Bury New Road, Whitefield
Pentecostal Church (of The Assemblies of God)
- 1943 began meeting on Stand Lane near junction with Radcliffe New Road
- 2002 building still there but now (I think) under new management
