Hello all :) I didn't know what RadBoarding was till i met Jim in 1990. I use to float the river back in the 80's with my friends, when we'd float on past the RadBoarders i thought how are they doing that, then i noticed a rope tied to a tree along the bank.
When i first tried it, Jim had a Board with a ~LawnChair~ bolted on it, he got me on that and i was sooo scared i never got back on!
Summer of 2001 was a hot one, i was sitting on a Board cooling off. We were the only ones there at the time, i stood up grabbed ahold of the Board and walked it out into the water thinking "I'M GONNA DO THIS!" Jim was in the camp trailer he saw me came out and coached me on what to do, in no time i was up! took me a few tries but i made it. I manuvered back and forth side to side thinking this is great! until my foot slipped and in i went!! I floated on downstream past the bushes made it to shore and said to myself "OHHH MY HAIR" hahahahhaa
I let the sun warm me up a bit and went and gave it another try. It was Fun!
When i get a lil more experienced i just may give the ~ChairBoard~ a try again :)~
