U.S.S. Enterprise Registry: NCC 1701
Constitution Class Vessel

This Enterprise was commanded by Captain James T. Kirk on his first Five-Year Mission which was to explore the Galaxy. After that Five-Year mission, Kirk was promoted to Admiral, and the Enterprise underwent an extensive refit. Shortly thereafter, she stopped the
V-GER probe from destroying Earth. She then flew a second Five-Year Mission under Admiral Kirk. She was ordered to investigate a message recieved from Carol Marcus, but was attacked by the U.S.S. Reliant under the command of Kahn Noonien Singh. Badly damaged, she lured the Reliant into the Mutara Nebula, where Kahn Detonated the Genesis Device. She barely escaped. Later, she was stolen by Admiral Kirk and party and, against orders, was taken to the Genesis Planet, where she was self-destructed in orbit.

Constitution Class Vessel (Refit)

This Enterprise, originally commissioned the Yorktown, was recommissioned as Enterprise and commanded by the recently-demoted Captain Kirk. She was called to rescue several hostages on the Planet of Intergalactic Peace. On this mission, she was comandeered by a Vulcan extremist named Sybok and flown into the Great Barrier. Her crew encountered a powerful being on the surface of a planet located within the barrier, and destroyed it when it threatened to take over the Enterprise. Later, she was ordered to escort a Klingon Heavy Cruiser through Federation Space to an Intergalactic Peace Conference being held on Earth. However, she was falsely accused of firing on the Klingon Crusier, and, subsequently, Captain Kirk and Dr. McCoy were arrested. She entered Klingon Space illegally and rescued the two officers from Rura Penthe. She then raced to Khitomer to stop an assassanation attempt on the Federation President, but encountered a Bird of Prey that could fire when cloaked. She defeated the Bird of Prey, and her crew successfully stopped the assassanation. She then became the care of another crew.

This Entperprise was commissioned roughly thirty years after Captain Kirk took command of the original Enterprise. Her captain was John Harriman, and her helmsman was Demora Sulu, Hikaru Sulu's daughter. Beyond that, little is known of her crew. Montgomery Scott, Pavel Checkov, and Captain Kirk was aboard for her maiden voyage, where she encountered an unusual rift known as The Ribbon near the Sol System. Captain Kirk went to the Deflector Control Room in an attempt to break free from The Ribbon, but was blown out into space when an energy bolt tore through her hull. He was feared dead, but turned up again in the 24th Century.

This Enterprise was deeply involved in ending conflicts with the Klingon Empire. She was destroyed defending the outpost Narendra III. Little else is known about her. Her Captain was Rachel Garret.

This Enterprise was the most advanced starship of her time. She was built to accomodate the families of crew memebers for extended missions away from home. She was commissioned under the command of Captain Jean-Luc Picard in the year 2363. She remained under Picard's command until her destruction in 2371. During that time, she aided in making countless advancements in the knowledge of the Federation. In the year 2366 she was heavily damaged in the Borg attack, and underwent six weeks of repairs in dry dock. She was destroyed in orbit of Veridian III by a renegade Klingon Bird of Prey in the year 2371. She was equipped with the latest in science and defensive capabilities.

Sovereign Class Vessel

This Enterprise was commissioned in 2372 under the command of Jean-Luc Picard. Most of the crew from the Enterprise-D remained on the new vessel. In 2373, she was assigned to the Romulan Neutral Zone as the Borg mounted their latest attack on the Federation. Picard disobeyed orders, and took the Enterprise to the battle, going back in time to twart the Borg's plan to stop First Contact between Humans and Vulcans. Sometime thereafter, the Enterprise was summoned to the Briar Patch to stop Data, who had aparently malfunctioned. While there, Picard uncovered a plot to remove the population of a planet in the Briar Patch who called themselves the Ba'ku. The Ba'ku were being relocated by a Federation ally, the Son'a, who were themselves former Ba'ku and were planning to collect the Metaphasic Radiation within the planet's rings. Metaphasic Radiation has the unique property of reversing the aging process. The Enterprise was barely able to escape destruction at the hands of a pair of Son'a ships, as Picard and crew worked desperately to prevent the forced relocation of the Ba'ku people. Eventually, they prevailed. Later, the Enterprise came across several positronic signatures on a planet near the Romulan Neutral Zone. They discovered an exact duplicate of Data, called B-4 (pronouced "Before"). She was then summoned to Romulus, where Picard learned that the new Praetor of The Romulan Empire was in fact a clone of Picard, named Shinzon.. She would have been destroyed by Shinzon's ship, the Schimitar, were it not for Data sacreficing himself to destroy the Schimitar. He died in the insuing explosion. She is currently undergoing refit in orbit of Earth.
