Chris "Mad Dog" Russo exploded onto the scene in 2007 and was named Co-Rookie of the Year for his efforts.  Displaying outstanding speed, fielding, hitting and even a little bit of pitching, Russo proved to be worthy of a 1st round draft pick week in and week out.  He batted 0.628 overall with 9 home runs and 46 RBI's, doubling 23 times and tripling 7.  He earned his first save as well, ultimately pitching 4.2 innings in 3 games.  He won the 2007 Home Run Derby, his first Gold Glove and Silver Slugger and (if that wasn't enough) 2 weekly MVP awards.  The Mad Dog will set his sights even higher in 2008, as he works toward that coveted MVP award.
