Year 9 has been making waves as the best of the (soon to be 4!) Human Cantos series! (Despite bad spelling and grammar...)

Someone I know referred to Shetland as "Shitland" yesterday. Have a look at it through my eyes here.
STOP PRESS! - The most anticipated event of the year is approaching...Jake and Ed's very own webpage! Starts Thursday!
Year 8 is up and running! So is Year 9 and Year X! (Year X3 is close!) And I know I keep banging on about this, but Gridwork! It's online and well and truly running!
The first part is now online, so is part 2, (part three will start soon, I swear! It's half written!) so if you wanna read it click here.
My diary is running again but still haven't restored the original. It is being worked on though. Click on the link to see what I'm getting up to. It'll be a bit like Big Brother!
This has got to be the best picture on my site so far! It's the martian polar cap, taken by the Mars Global Surveyor. Beautiful! Click here to view.
Just to answer some queries and requests I have been recieving through my guestbook: No, he is not going to die and Yes, there will be Year 10! But that will be the final one...at least for now. There have been SEVEN attempts now to guess the point of the stories and you are all wide of the mark, but at the same time you all seem to have spotted things I never noticed. I'm going to create a seperate page for those in case anyone is wondering why they haven't been posted (but not just yet). It is pleasing to know how many different ways it can be interpreted. But keep them coming! Need input!
Found loads more stuff for posting. Actual completed stuff. Some of it so old it's on 5 1/4 inch floppy! Luckily I still have a few of them in my old workshop so I'll get to read them eventually and maybe, just maybe, I'll stick em on here. Weird titles to some of them. "The Gumph in the wall" "The Nowhere Room" "Meet the Grimwalds" "The Pink Panama" and my own personal favourite "Mildred Spoom and the strange case of the Missing Sock". I'll definitely be posting that one! Wrote it at high school and even got a laugh out of my teacher with it. So the archive is growing.
This picture was downloaded on Monday. It shows a volcano erupting on Io - one of Jupiter's moons. This is just the picture I had in mind when thinking about Year 9. My follow up to Year 8. I liked the character and think it's worth getting to know a little better. I think that I'll use pictures as links to things this time. Make it seem a bit more colourful. I'll go look for a picture I can use as a link for Year 8 and Lionel. Watch this space.
This is another wider picture of Io. The most spectacular moon in the solar system. I think this is the same eruption but wouldn't put money on it as the surface there changes every day. This picture shows the surface in it's entirety and gives you a good idea of how rapidly it changes.
How's this for a picture to use a link for Year 8? The story is set on one of Uranus' moons, so what better than a picture of the sky as seen from there? By the way, the moon in question is Miranda. There, I've spoilt one of the things I wanted to leave open to interpretation. No matter, this will be the link when the site is working again. I could spoil it even more by letting slip what it's birth star is but I'll get around to that in future. Probably around Year 15!
On the subject of stars check out this link: Deep Space
Those are galaxies, not stars! Makes you feel really small, doesn't it?

Don't stop coming back. Not much fun if no-one is reading it. Comments and suggestions are welcome.
Hope no-one noticed the boob. Always get mixed up with Saturn and Uranus! Well I'm not Patrick Moore! Sheeesh!
Ever fancied Haggis hunting? :)
