Trunks is the son of Bulma and Vegeta. In the show, at one point there are two Trunks'. Baby Trunks and Trunks. Baby Trunks is from the present, and Trunks is from the future. Trunks comes from a terrible future, where everyday he has to fight for his life against the Androids. He decides to go to the past and warn the Z Fighters of this new danger to try and change his future. He warns them, but when he returns to his time, he notices that nothing's changed, when he returns to the past, he notices two Androids, 19 and 20, that he's never seen before. After they kill those two, the Androids from Trunks future are awakened, and another one that Trunks has never seen awakens too. Then he finds that the ultimate Android, Cell has followed him from his future to their past. (This guy just doesn't seem to get a break, huh?) Well Vegeta, Trunks, Goku, and Gohan have to train in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber to become stronger to defeat Cell. Gohan ends up killing Cell by going to higher level of a Super Saiyan. Trunks returns to his future after making sure the past is safe and kills the Androids of his time.
Little Trunks has a best friend named Goten who is Goku's second son. He wins the Junior Division of the of the World Martial Arts Tounement. Babidi resurrects an ancient evil known as Majin Buu. He and Goten train and learn a new techique called Fusion. They do a dance and become Gotenks. When Buu becomes too strong, they train in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber and end up going to Super Saiyan 3 while fuzed. Buu and Gotenks were at a standstill because they were equal in power. But in the end when Gohan arrived from the world of the Kai's, Buu consumed Gotenks and they were lost. Goku and Vegeta rescued Trunks and the others, but they died when Buu destroyed the Earth. When they were resurrected by the Dragonballs of Namek, they gave their power to Goku to use a Spirit Bomb on Buu. 10 years later, They enter a Martial Arts Tournement because Goku has an odd feeling. They compete and Goten's niece ends up winning the Tournament. |
