FS: New Wave Mongoose (Whitewater 'Creek/River-runner')

This is a fine boat for a average-to-large paddler for river-running, big water, or creek boating. Highly rockered, with a full displacement hull, this boat is quite responsive to a paddle stroke when you want to initiate a turn.
The manufacturer's specs on it are 8' 11", 63 gallons, 40 pounds.
This 1996 vintage boat has seen plenty of good action, and is still ready for more. A 'plastic weld' on a small crack a couple years back has held 'good-as-new'. While there is some 'oil canning' (slight distortion of the hull under the cockpit of the boat), and the 'usual' cuts and scrapes (for a boat which has seen plenty of river miles in the midwest), the boat has never been 'wrapped', seriously broached, or folded.
It has always been kept indoors when not in use, so the plastic has not been subjected to degradation from ultraviolet radiation (a common cause of older plastic boats becoming weak and brittle).
If desired/necessary upon sale, I am willing to"meet halfway, up to about 100 mile radius or so of Racine, WI. Or can meet at Vermilion (IL), Big Pine (IN), Root (WI), or other area rivers (when they're running) for first-hand inspection and optional test paddle.
